    What’s the catch? Do we really KEEP 100% of the commission?
    There is no catch, just simple economies of scale. Each Recruiter that joins Precision Search effectively increases the “buying power” of the entire network of Recruiters. Simply put; the more Team Members, the better discounts we receive on recruiting software, marketing material, job postings, etc. Each individual Recruiter immediately benefits by KEEPING 100% of their commission, but they continue to benefit as the company grows and continues to offer each Recruiter more tools for success and increase each Recruiter’s profits.

    How do I get paid?
    PSI pays each Recruiter 100% of their commission immediately upon verification of funds by the bank (typically within 72 hours after receipt) or upon satisfaction of any guarantee period that offers full or partial refund to the Recruiter’s client company for which payment is received, whichever is later.

    Am I a W-2 employee or a 1099 independent contractor?
    All Recruiters are 1099 independent contractors. At the end of the year, you will receive the Form 1099 from PSI’s accounting department.

    Are there benefits to being an independent contractor vs. a W-2 employee?
    Yes, there are specific advantages to being an independent contractor. Consult with your tax advisor for your individual situation. Please review the included IRS Schedule C for tax-deductible expenses for independent contractors. This structure allows for maximum flexibility as well as the ability for Precision Search to pay another corporation.

    Whom do I contact if I have a question regarding my commission check?
    If there is a problem with your commission check, please call (925) 685-2392. Our accounting department is always ready to promptly correct any errors that might occur.

 



    How long does it take for my contact information and biography to be posted on the web so my clients and candidates can view it?
    Turnaround time for your web page creation is 48 hours. The sooner you return your complete Bio Information Form and picture – the sooner we can create a place for your present and future clients to view your qualifications on the Internet.

    Is my web page customizable?
    No. PSI’s web pages are designed to maximize each Recruiter’s web presence and to provide a consistent marketing and branding message for your candidates and clients.

    Do I need to provide a professional picture of myself?
    Yes. We need a professional picture for your web page. Please provide a high-resolution photo of yourself in business professional attire by email to info@precision-search.com. If you need assistance please contact Kevin Conlon at kconlon@precision-search.com

 



    How do I qualify?
    In order to qualify, you must have billed a minimum of $150,000 gross in the previous consecutive twelve (12) month period. You must also be adept at business development and candidate placement, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and the discipline to take control of your own financial destiny. Precision Search cannot provide these intangibles; but if you can, then we have a match.

    Why PSI? (Instead of recruiting independently or for another company?)
    The Recruiting industry is a 15 Billion dollar industry, yet it is still very fractured. The concept behind PSI is to provide more clout in the marketplace for each of its Recruiters. Competing with F500 clients, individual Recruiters face enormous start-up costs and enjoy few, if any economies of scale, yet they compete with larger companies that do. For example, it used to be enough to have a website but now companies (or individuals) also need a “web marketing strategy coupled with a powerful search engine optimization strategy just for your clients to find your website. Some other companies claim they are trying to do the same thing but do not offer a cohesive branding and marketing strategy. In effect, recruiters with other companies remain independent and fractured. PSI’s Recruiters maintain their independence while also benefiting from economies of scale that work for the individual, and a singular image that their clients and candidates can quickly identify and recognize. Instead of your clients recognizing a jumbled mass of independent recruiters stitched together at the seams, PSI offers a holistic team, formed from handpicked individuals. From the trademark-registered logo to the personal web page to a branded email address your clients know they are dealing with a professional. PSI’s Recruiters also enjoy the benefits of back-office support; we handle the billing, collections, security, and database storage. All this and you KEEP 100% of your commission, period.

    How long does it take to get started?
    We can have a new Recruiter up in running; web page, business cards, contracts, software licenses & job board access, everything within 2 weeks.

 



    What recruiting software do your Recruiters use?
    Each Recruiter receives his/her own license for PCRecruiter that allows them to access their database of information from anywhere that they have Internet access. There is no software to download or troublesome memory upgrades to worry about. Whether from executive suite, hotel, or Internet café, your contacts are only a few keystrokes away.

    How do I access my email and do I need special software?
    Email accounts are set-up via a web server and accessible anywhere you have Internet access without having to download any software.

    When I try to log-on from home, I get an error message saying that I am unable to connect.
    A number of issues can contribute to the inability to connect remotely. The usual sequence to solving this issue is to first check if a connection to the Internet is available. Most issues arise from a local DSL outage or error and can be resolved simply by resetting the DSL modem (consult your users manual). The next step would be to attempt to connect as the user from another location, to verify the connection settings, and to ensure that the correct login and password combination are being used.     How many job postings can I make?
    Each Recruiter will have the ability to search resumes nationwide. Posting individual jobs is an additional expense. Discounted pricing has been negotiated for PSI Recruiters and will only become less expensive as we grow. Complete the Job Posting Order form (included in your start-up packet) for each job you would like posted to Monster.com (this form can be emailed or faxed). Jobs will be posted within 24 hours of receipt of completed form.

    What is the process in ordering/re-ordering my business cards?
    Your initial order of 250 business cards will be processed immediately upon receipt of the completed Web Bio and Contact Info form. To re-order your cards WITHOUT changes, simply send an email to info@precision-search.com with the subject: “business card order” and include the number of cards you would like ordered and the correct shipping address in the body of the email. If you are re-ordering cards with any changes to your contact information – include the subject: “CHANGES (all caps please) business card order” – please note any changes to your information along with the above information in the body of the email. PSI provides 1000 business cards per Recruiter per year at no cost.

 



    Will I be able to participate in PSI’s health care benefit programs?
    No. Only W-2 employees can participate in PSI’s health care benefits program. We are in the process of establishing a group plan that independent recruiters can participate in.

    Will I be able to participate in PSI’s 401k program?
    No. Only W-2 employees can participate in PSI’s 401k program. Consult your Financial Planner about contributing to a Self Employed Pension (SEP).

    Why would I move from a 'well-paying' position in a company that offers health benefits to a company that doesn’t offer health benefits?
    There is no free lunch. Your current company is not 'offering' you anything - you are earning it. The benefits you receive are in exchange for them TAKING 50 percent or more of your earnings.
For Example: Take a look a John P. Recruiter with Zippy Group Recruiting. John bills an average of $250k per year; he has been with Zippy Group Recruiting for five years and is on a 50-50 split. John takes home $125k and gets a very good health care plan. An average healthcare plan for a family of four costs about $1000/month. Zippy Group Recruiting gladly picks up the $12k tab, in exchange for $125k in revenue. After a $113k profit, Zippy Group Recruiting probably sends John and his wife on a 3 day vacation to Mexico and still makes a healthy $110k. With Precision Search, John would have had to pay the $12K for the health plan, but he would have taken home $226k with enough left over to take his entire family (including the in-laws) on vacation several times. This is an immediate increase of 180%. The question is not why would you move, the question is why wouldn’t you?
